In afternoon trading on Wednesday, Utilities stocks are the best performing sector, up 1.1%. Within the sector, NRG Energy Inc (NYSE: NRG) and WEC Energy Group Inc (NYSE: WEC) are two large stocks leading the way, showing a gain of 3.5% and 2.3%, respectively.
