Pin it I love New York and I love my itty bitty apartment, but one of the things that's been the hardest about downsizing from nearly 1,000 square feet to 250 is not having room to garden. There's something about growing things, I'm convinced, that is good for the soul. So this year I decided that I would try my luck with a little garden on the fire escape.
