After the closing of the qualification period on 11 July 2016, the IAAF has assessed the number of athletes having achieved the entry standard for the Rio 2016 Olympic Games and, following the applications submitted for the entry of unqualified athletes, is in the process of determining the athletes qualified by ranking.
