Last Thursday, Michelin Guides pinned its prestigious stars on 29 dining establishments in Singapore including two "hawker" food stalls: Hong Kong Soya Sauce Chicken Rice and Noodle, and Hill Street Tai Hwa Pork Noodle. The pair have become the first street food vendors in the world to be given a rating by the French company.
