First Face Transplant Recipient Isabelle Dinoire Dies At 49

Isabelle Dinoire, the world's first face transplant recipient, has died at the age of 49. Dinoire received a partial face graft from a 38-year-old brain-dead donor in 2005, six months after being mauled by her own pet dog.
