Depression During Early Pregnancy Linked To Gestational Diabetes: NIH Study

A study by the National Institutes of Health found a 'two-way link' between depression and diabetes among pregnant women. It said depression in the early stages of pregnancy could escalate the chances of gestational diabetes and postpartum depression may follow.
