John Glenn has died. The cause of death has not been announced, but he was hospitalized at the Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center a week ago, reportedly in declining health. He was 95. To call him an American hero is understating the case. He was a military aviator, signing up after the bombing of Pearl Harbor in 1941.
