A New York City Judge Extends Bobby Shmurda's Prison Sentence

In September 2016, Ackquille Pollard, otherwise known as Bobby Shmurda, was sentenced to seven years after pleading guilty for conspiracy to murder and weapons possession. During his incarceration, the Brooklyn rapper allegedly tried to bring a "sharp metal object" into Rikers Island given by his girlfriend, Kimberly Rousseau, during a visit in 2015.
