Key protein to regulate synapse formation

(DGIST (Daegu Gyeongbuk Institute of Science and Technology)) Korean researchers have identified the control mechanism of synapse formation using a protein crystallography method. It is expected to be used in the study of brain diseases caused by dysfunction of synapses and to develop therapeutic drugs.
