Have We Reached Peak Moroccan?

It's hard to pinpoint the exact moment everyone became obsessed with all things Moroccan--poufs, lanterns, tagines, tea tables. But when it comes to textiles, the picture is a little bit clearer. A few years ago, interiors with Beni Ourain rugs started popping up in shelter magazines (and on websites like this one!). Then in a watershed design moment, if you will, West Elm released the Souk Rug back in 2012 or so, and it was on.
