BlackRock's Alternatives Business Could Gain Significantly From Potential Calpers Deal

BlackRock is reportedly in talks with Calpers to manage all or part of the latter's private equity investments - currently valued at around $26.2 billion. A possible deal between the largest asset manager and the largest U.S. pension fund works in favor of both parties.
