'Close Encounters of the Third Kind' Reimagined in 8-Bit Form

This year, Steven Spielberg's Close Encounters of the Third Kind turned 40. The sci-fi masterpiece has held a special place in film history since its release and in its honor, artist Christopher Harrison has created a brief 8-bit video. Several of the film's iconic scenes have been reproduced in colorful retro graphics, with just enough detail. Roy Neary's obsession with UFOs is lovingly remade in the blocky style of old NES games and the Space Invaders reference at the end is the cherry on top....
