Less than a week after the latest round of Nintendo Switch updates, it's been discovered that the console now supports GameCube controllers. The process was found by intrepid gamers, as Nintendo didn't explicitly lay it out in the update notes. Anyone who owns the GameCube controller USB adaptor that was released with Super Smash Bros. for Wii U already has the necessary tools to make it happen -- once a GameCube controller and the USB adaptor are plugged into the Switch, you're good to go.
