According to a Bloomberg report published last week, Apple is working on a 2018 iPad Pro that'll take the edge-to-edge display and Face ID sensor from the iPhone X, and put them into tablet form. This really shouldn't be a surprise to anyone -- Touch ID jumped into the iPad a year after it made its iPhone debut, and Apple does have a tendency to test new features on the iPhone range before rolling them out to all devices.
