Novel tool for vets and farmers to monitor and reduce antibiotics on dairy farms

(University of Nottingham) A new study of antibiotic use on a large sample of UK dairy farms has found that 25% of the farms used 50% of the total antibiotics administered. Following the research, the Nottingham Vet School has launched a new tool to help vets and farmers monitor and reduce their use of antibiotics in their dairy herds.
