University of Delaware professor receives $2.3 million grant to study Achilles injuries

(University of Delaware) University of Delaware assistant professor Karin Gravare Silbernagel has received a five-year, $2.3 million Research Project Grant from the National Institute of Arthritis and Musculoskeletal and Skin Diseases to study Achilles tendinopathy. This overuse injury is most prevalent in active individuals between the ages of 35 and 55.
