Lucasfilm Announces New 'Star Wars Resistance' Animated Series

Lucasfilm has announced its next animated series, following the finale of Star Wars Rebels, and it's set in the era of The Force Awakens. Called Star Wars Resistance, the series will see Rebels and Clone Wars producer Dave Filoni return for the show, which has been described as an "anime-inspired" series set in an "uncharted time frame prior to The Force Awakens."
