KAWS Unveils Companion "Waiting" Sculpture in Detroit

The city of Detroit will soon see a massive 17-foot sculpture by KAWS titled "Waiting" in front of Campus Martius Park in downtown. The artwork, which depicts a child and a parent in KAWS's signature "Companion" series, is comprised of over two tons of bronze and was given a matte black sheen before being assembled in the business district.
