Shinnecock Indian Nation and U.S.G.A. Are Close to a Deal for the U.S. Open

The tribe is expected to have a chance to profit from the Open next month at Shinnecock Hills Golf Club, which sits on a strip of Long Island once owned by the Shinnecock Nation.
