Bill Gates thinks Elon Musk's AI bots working together to beat humans in Dota 2 is a 'huge milestone'

Bill Gates, the Microsoft founder, is a huge fan of Elon Musk's artificial intelligence research company OpenAI. Musk cofounded the non-profit in 2015 with entrepreneur Sam Altman, and the company received more than $1 billion in funding at its inception. OpenAI's goal is to develop AI tools that benefit humanity, and it has so far mainly done work with technology that teaches itself to reach goals set out by its engineers, such as walking.
