During my high school years in Ohio, it never truly felt like summer until my friends and I celebrated the season with out first stargazing party. About 20 of us would make the drive from the city to our friend's house in the country. Out there the houses were separated by large swaths of land and there were few street lights, so the stars shone so bright it almost felt like daytime. We'd lay out a huge collage of blankets next to the bonfire and just stare at the night sky talking about our fut...
