This past Sunday, Cai Guo Qiang launched 50,000 fireworks portraying flowers at the Piazzale Michelangelo in Florence, Italy. For the showcase, the internationally-acclaimed Chinese artist drew inspiration from Renaissance artist Sandro Botticelli's Primavera tempera painting.
