Disney+ 'Rogue One' Series Enlists 'The Americans' Alum Stephen Schiff as Showrunner

“The Americans” executive producer Stephen Schiff will serve as showrunner on the upcoming “Rogue One” prequel series for Disney+. Schiff, a writer-producer on the acclaimed FX drama for five seasons, will write and showrun the untitled live-action series, which will see Diego Luna reprise his role from the 2015 movie “Rogue One: A Star Wars Story.” Announced earlier this month and set to go into production next year, the series will follow the adventures of rebel spy Cassian Andor (...
