Tom Sachs Releasing Limited Edition Chairs Used by NASA

Artist Tom Sachs is gearing up to release a limited edition item from his 2012 artist show, in conjunction with NASA. The "Space Program: Mars Flown NASA Chair" is actually a repurposed Samsonite Model 2250 foldable chair and, according to Tom Sachs and his team, was used during the launches that took two astronauts to "the surface of Mars at the Park Avenue Armory, NYC 2012."
