The world premiere screening of the Susan Sarandon drama “Blackbird” was briefly halted just before the end of the film, after an audience member experienced what appeared to be a medical emergency. The screening, held during the Toronto International Film festival at Roy Thomson Hall, stopped approximately 10 minutes before the film ended after a commotion erupted near the orchestra section and audience members began shouting for a doctor.
