Hospitalizations among dialysis patients are higher in areas with more black residents

(American Society of Nephrology) Patients receiving hemodialysis at facilities located in residential areas with a high percentage of Black residents have a higher rate of hospitalization. Results from the study will be presented at ASN Kidney Week 2019 Nov. 5-10 at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center in Washington, D.C.
