Safety of novel cancer-specific PET probe confirmed in clinical research

(Osaka University) In first-in-human clinical studies, researchers at Osaka University confirmed the safety of F-18 NKO-035, a new PET probe that specifically binds to LAT1 highly expressed in various human cancers. F-18 NKO-035 may contribute to more accurate detection of cancer compared to conventional fluorodeoxyglucose (FDG)-PET imaging diagnosis.
