Nebraska researcher develops contact tracing technology

(University of Nebraska-Lincoln) A software system developed at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln to study how human interactions affect behavior and public health could potentially be used for contact tracing in an epidemic. The app uses location and Bluetooth technology to provide anonymous notification to those who may have been exposed to the COVID-19 virus.
