(Kanazawa University) Researchers from Kanazawa University retrospectively analyzed children with refractory or relapsed high-risk neuroblastoma who were treated with high-dose 131I-metaiodobenzylguanidine at Kanazawa University Hospital. They showed that within a 5-year period, this therapy could provide a favorable prognosis without severe non-hematological side effects. These findings could provide new insights into a novel treatment option for patients with high-risk neuroblastoma.
