Vanderbilt launches clinical trial of outpatient treatments for COVID-19

(Vanderbilt University Medical Center) Vanderbilt University Medical Center (VUMC) is launching a clinical trial of promising treatments for COVID-19 in the outpatient setting. The trial is part of the national ACTIV-2 protocol to evaluate the safety and efficacy of new potential therapeutics in adult patients who have COVID-19 illness but are not hospitalized.
