Are Street Photographers More Unethical Than Paparazzi?

I believe that a photographer should have the right to create images freely in a public space. For almost a decade, I've argued with non-street photographers about whether or not the art form should be allowed. Paparazzi certainly crosses over into the world of street photography. The only difference is the subject remains the same - celebrities. But while I'll fight for the right to make the candid frame, I can't say I'm entirely on the side of those that photograph celebs.
