Kings ink No. 2 overall pick Byfield to 3-year deal

The Kings signed 6-foot-5 center Quinton Byfield, the No. 2 overall draft pick, to a three-year, entry-level contract Friday. He is likely to play another year of junior hockey before he moves to the NHL.
