Not all patients with certain type of heart attack receive the same care

(Massachusetts General Hospital) An analysis of medical records reveals variability in the tests and treatments that patients with type 2 myocardial infarction receive during and after their hospital stay. Clinical trials are needed to provide guidance to physicians on how to best care for these patients.
