Sony has announced the launch of its new FX6 full-frame 4K cinema camera, which merges Sony's cinema technology and form factor with advanced imaging technologies taken from its Alpha mirrorless camera systems. At the core of the camera is a 4K 10.2-megapixel full-frame backside-illuminated CMOS Exmor R sensor powered by a Sony Bionz XR image processing engine -- likely the same setup used in the Sony a7S III.
