For people with diabetes, medicaid expansion helps, but can't do it all: BU study

(Boston University School of Medicine) Medicaid expansion through the Affordable Care Act has insured millions of low-income people in the United States, improving outcomes for patients with many different diseases. But expansion alone has not been enough to improve outcomes for patients with diabetes, according to a new Boston University School of Public Health (BUSPH) study.
