Tamron announces 17-70mm F2.8 for Sony APS-C cameras

Tamron has introduced the 17-70mm F2.8 Di III-A VC RXD lens for Sony APS-C bodies. The lens has a 35mm-equivalent focal length of 25.5-105mm and uses the company's 'Vibration Compensation' image stabilizer (no word on its performance). The 17-70 F2.8 has a total of 16 elements, including one hybrid aspherical and two glass-molded aspherical elements.
