McDonald's Japan Releases Archival Footage of Its First Restaurant in Tokyo

McDonald's Japan has just released a full retrospective celebrating its 50th anniversary. Dating back to 1971, under the name "Nippon McDonald's Holdings, Inc.," the first McDonald's fast-food restaurant opened in Ginza's Mitsukoshi shopping mall and was erected in just 39 hours so that none of the surrounding businesses were impacted by the construction.
