Bay Area slowcore trio Sour Widows have released a new single, "Bathroom Stall," from their forthcoming EP Crossing Over, which they announced last month with its title track. The song’s build-up is subtle and poignant like Sufjan Stevens, but Maia Sinaiko's evocative, sweeping vocals are one-of-a-kind, and the lyrics are graphic and tragic: "Do you remember it like I do?/ Your lips turned blue I had my fingers in your mouth/ And I couldn't get them out."
