Caron changed its owner to Ariane de Rothschild in 2018 after 20 years under the management of Alès Groupe (acquired in 1998). The new owner invited a new in-house perfumer, Jean Jacques, who started his tenure by developing Les Nouveaux Parfums Fontaines. Just like Caron's previous owner, Rothschild continued to shuffle Caron's heritage year after year, keeping old names and inventing new ones...
