Samsung announces 50MP ISOCELL JN1 smartphone camera sensor with 0.64μm photosites

After teasing it earlier this week, Samsung has revealed the details (translated) of the ISOCELL JN1, a 1/28-inch (9.06mm) 50MP smartphone camera sensor that appears to have the smallest photosites in the industry, at least as far as mass-produced image sensors are concerned, at just 0.64μm.
