With wife at Olympics, RP Reed claimed by Rays

Jake Reed, a 28-year-old reliever, was claimed off waivers by the Rays from the Dodgers on Sunday while his wife, Janie, is at the Olympics, preparing for the softball gold-medal game with Team USA.
