Man behind viral Cormac McCarthy parody account that Twitter suspended is California gubernatorial candidate

A free speech lawyer and California gubernatorial candidate confirmed Monday that he was the one behind a popular Twitter account posing as "No Country for Old Men" author Cormac McCarthy -- a "very obvious parody" that blew up on the platform and led to its controversial removal last week.
