Watch these seemingly flat objects transform into 3D structures

Researchers at Harvard University have developed a mechanism called ‘Kiriform’, in which flat objects can be twisted into 3D structures. The mechanism can be used in a variety of ways, creating things from wheels and wind turbines to functional furniture, like tables and lamps.
