Nike Founder Phil Knight Is Going In on a $2 Billion USD Bid for the Portland Trail Blazers

It appears that Nike founder Phil Knight is looking to make a mark with his homestate of Oregon. ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski recently reported that Knight and Los Angeles Dodgers co-owner Alan Smolinisky have put in an over $2 billion USD bid for NBA franchise, Portland Trail Blazers. Woj tweeted, "Nike founder Phil Knight and Dodgers co-owner Alan Smolinisky have made a $2 billion-plus written offer to purchase the Portland Trail Blazers, sources tell ESPN."
