Sony has announced a new compact digital shotgun microphone, the ECM-B10. This new multidirectional microphone has three pickup patterns and transmits data digitally through Sony's Multi-Interface (MI) Shoe on its compatible mirrorless camera systems, negating the need for extra cables and batteries.
