Officials call Chicago Blackhawks owners' 700-acre development proposal a 'pretty big deal for the village of Mundelein'

The Wirtz Family, whose patriarch Rocky owns the Chicago Blackhawks, has proposed a 700-acre development in unincorporated Mundelein with multifamily and single home housing, as well as retail and office space. The village of Mundelein will consider a plan to annex the land in December, which would offer the Wirtz Family some benefits.
