Dodgers place Vesia on IL; Snell to start Friday

Prior to their 6-3 win over the Cincinnati Reds on Tuesday night, the Los Angeles Dodgers placed reliever Alex Vesia, who is 3-2 with a 2.75 ERA in 59 appearances this season, on the injured list with a right oblique strain.
