White Sox move OF Benintendi (Achilles) to IL

The Chicago White Sox placed outfielder Andrew Benintendi, who has been hampered by an injury since shortly before the All-Star break, on the IL with left Achilles tendinitis Tuesday, just before a series opener against the New York Yankees.
