One of Sonys Oddest Lenses Also Makes Beautiful Photographs

10 years ago, I reviewed the Sony 85mm f1.4 G Master original. In 2024, they released the second version of this lens which we reviewed as well. But ultimately, we thought that the much more affordable 85mm f1.8 FE was too good of a deal to pass up on. In fact, I even think that I preferred the original 85mm G Master because the results felt far less like they were run through AI Photoshop filters.
