CBDT notifies Form 173A for government securities: New tax exemption rules for eligible foreign investors

CBDT has notified Form 173A for eligible foreign institutional investors and the Bank for International Settlements claiming tax exemption on government securities. The form requires disclosures on holdings, interest income and capital gains.
